City Indians

“City Indians” reclaims our image in sports, transforming the iconic Indians baseball logo into a symbol of truth and resilience. In Ojibwe culture, we don’t depict ourselves — we depict animals, nature, and spirits. That’s why the outdated caricature has been replaced with the Beaver, who represents Wisdom in our teachings. We are “Doin’ The Dam Thing” — building barriers, redirecting our way of life, and living out the Seventh Fire Prophecy.
